Table setting inspired by my collection of Spode St Nick Plates. Sold at Williams Sonoma. Lovely transferware. Each year Spode made a different version of the plates. I tried to collect some from every year until they ceased production. I have at least one from every year although not all styles were used on this table.
Tablescape was set for eating, with room left on the table to serve the food family style.
I was lucky enough to find the matching Christmas Cracker Poppers at a Williams Sonoma/Pottery Barn outlet. Christmas Cracker's are such a fun party favor. They are probably my favorite party favor. Each place setting consists of a woven star placemat. On top of this I used a red burlap triangle to place the dinner plate. For decoration I used a silver paper star in the corner. The silverware I placed in a little metal basket wrapped by the matching napkin to my tablecloth.
On the back of each chair I just tied a simple ribbon tie. My ribbon choice was a burlap ribbon with embroidered deer. The tablecloth has Santa's reindeer so the ribbon was a great match.
For the centerpiece I used some sparkly candles and a large urn with a poinsettia. I also scattered some glittered 3-dimensional stars across the table top. There is a star print in the tablecloth as well.
