Happy New Year 2015! Wishing Peace and Happiness to All.......
I had been thinking about this table setting and what I would like for it. Hope you enjoy and get some ideas from my post.
When I saw these plates a bit ago at Home Goods I thought hmm...., French. Great for a French theme table, but why not a New Year themed table with the clock!?! As time never stands still. I also purchased the dinner plate at the same time. I thought with the gold hands of the clock they looked great together.
I set this place setting on a white linen with black border tablecloth. Using a black charger from Pier One. Flatware with gold handle from Pier One as well. And my gold goblets that I use all the time.
The hat I purchased at Big Lots a few years ago. I decorated it with jewels, my initial, lace, burlap and a myriad of other items. I used sheet music and fan folded it and attached under the book paper shredded bow. The 2015 I added this year is from Crate and Barrel.,
Instead of using Christmas cracker poppers, I used a paper horn noise maker, put in some candy wrapped in cellophane. To hold the cellophane bag/cone inside just a dot of hot glue will hold it in enough. Then you can remove the candy and blow to your heart's content.
I used a Pottery Barn linen towel with a black and white stripe ruffled border for the napkin. I use these small towels quite a bit for napkins.
I hope you and yours have a wonderful New Year. Thanks for looking. Please feel free to leave a comment. Thank you again.

Poinsettia Medley
This tablescape is so colorful and cheery it makes me happy. Inspired by the inexpensive red Poinsettia placemats that I purchased at a Kroeger market.

Icy Blue Snowflake Tablescape
Icy Blues and Silver Snowflakes
I LOVE COMMENTS! Please feel free to leave a comment at the end of the post. Thanks.
My inspiration for this Tablescape was my blue and cream woven damask tablecloth from Martha Stewart. Woven into the design are many snowflakes. I have used this cloth several times.

Nutcracker Suite Tablescape
Dedicated to my lovely granddaughter performing in "The Nutcracker" this year, with a major Ballet Company.
We love Ballet in our family, having had two children dance professionally. Now another generation is following in their footsteps.
I had the most fun doing this tablescape. I was hoping to make it whimsical and fun, but also elegant. The top plates are each different and unique, featuring a different Nutcracker Ballet Dancer.
The Sugar Plum Fairy is the featured dancer on this plate. Look at the Christmas Cracker that matches so closely. How did I luck out finding the Cracker's at T. J. Max to match the Nutcracker plates I purchased on Ebay!
