The scene for this tablescape is below my kitchen window. As I was setting up, the deer were meandering around and watching what I was doing Or, were they waiting for me to move so they could have a treat of the sweet smelling and tasty roses... They have no fear of me!
I have about 50 feet on each of the side yards of my house. I love the East side, which this tablescape is on. In the morning you see the beautiful sun rising and it is not too hot.. In the evening it is so peaceful and shady. Very calming.

I love the French fry or vegetable sticks holder. From World Market.
Do you see my Alice in wonderland and Queen of Hearts hiding under the Mock Orange? You can see my water faucet handle on the bottom left. You probably can't tell but the handle is Mickey Mouse's head. The handle is solid brass and for one year several year's ago they were sold at Disneyland. I saved it for our future new house, we were building.
Thank you for checking out my Blog Post. I will be posting this on Between Naps on the Porch for Tablescape Thursday.
Ah, to enjoy all of the finer things in life.

ReplyDeleteI haven't heard from you in awhile, regarding a new blog look. Let me know if you are still interest. Your post area needs to be wider to accommodate your lovely wide photos....
So cute! I love your picnic ant theme for this summer tablescape, this would be so much fun to surprise friends with (as long as no real ants show up). I would love it if you would stop by and share this over at my very first Link Party! Hugs! Chloe http://celebrateanddecorate.com/celebrate-it-sunday-link-party-1/

I love your ant theme cookout table!! It is so cute!! I love the way you layered the stack in reds and whites. Mixing squares and round shapes can sometimes look awkward but you created a perfect foil with the red ruffled place mat to transition to the round plates. Did you make the red jingle bell ant placecard holders? I still have hot glue scars from the ants I made last year!
