Summer Island Paradise Tablescape

Summer Island Paradise......

I had so much fun putting this Tablescape together.  Inspired by the adorable "Olaf" in his Island Summer Hula Skirt.   My grand daughter Scarlett said I just had to get him, when we were at the Disney Store.

I used 2 placemats.  The woven one on the bottom with the touches of blue was from Home Goods this year.  The round thick braided placemat is from PB.  I used it for my Pirate theme tablescape that I did last Fall.

I used some little pineapple shot glasses to present a little treat.  The candies mimic the colors in the tablescape..

I have used several pineapple theme items in this tablescape not only because they grow them in Hawaii but even the plates have a little "pineapple" compass printed on them.

Please feel free to leave a comment.  I love reading them all!  Thanks for looking.

I will be posting this on Tablescape Thursday at Between Naps on the Porch.  I will be sharing this with Celebrate Your Story link party.
I will be sharing with Dishing It & Digging It.

Some of the sources of my items are T.J. Maxx, Pier One, Home Goods, Thanksgiving Point Emporium, Pottery Barn, Dollar Tree.   Some of the flowers from my yard, Disney Store, World Market.  Some of the items are from years ago..

You manifest the Beauty of The Chase Fantasy we all have to escape our daily cares and find an a little paradise. Thank you for taking time to share your art and reminding us of one thing: "Life is more than mere survival. And we just might live the good life yet."

  4. Love the flowers, napkins, and little birds. Laughing at your little Olaf. A whimsical touch. I will be wanting this tablescape inspiration in January and February to chase away the winter blues!

  5. Just adorable. I love the little Olaf singing and playing his guitar or ukulele. Puts you in a summer state of mind, doesn't it? I love the Tommy Bahama plates, I just wish they wouldn't put the name across all of their products. Thank you for sharing at the Celebrate Your Story! link party, but we would appreciate a link back to the party, please, and thank you.
