Valentine Memories Tablescape

                                                  I Choose You

Years of memories in these Valentine Candy Boxes

Every year for Valentine's Day my husband has given me chocolates.  I love saving the gorgeous boxes as a momento.  My centerpiece includes some of the boxes.  We have been married for a long time, since I was still a teen.  No way could I include all the boxes as I would need several tables (just kind of kidding).  As we sit and see the Valentine candy boxes it brings to our minds some wonderful memories and reminds us to love one another all over again.

I used a Christmas ornament for the napkin ring, just threading a ribbon through.

My little Cherub needs an extra arrow.  My husband found the ribbon for me.  Looks like a "bulls-eye" target.

I sometime's get my husband his own box of chocolates.  Usually he shares mine.

I have had this very large heart shape candle for years.  Sold at the online store Red Envelope.

This little box below is one of my favorites.  A deep rich velvet with an embossed crown.

Hanging garland from the chandelier.  Snow outside

Hope that you have had a wonderful day.  Love makes the world go around.  Share your love and open yourself up to love.  I love people so very much but I love God's animal kind as well.

I will be posting this on Between Naps on the Porch for Tablescape Thursday.

  1. What beautiful boxes, and I love that you keep them and display them. Some are so unique. He must spend some time just selecting the prettiest box he can find. So romantic.

  5. This is what I call a heartfelt and loving table. Now I wish I had saved a few of the candy boxes I used to get. With all the baking I do I asked the Mr not to buy me candy on Valentine's Day. Using the boxes was a lovely idea.

  7. Valerie, I love your collection of Valentine candy boxes. What a great idea.
I would love to have a tiny little red heart box that my Daddy gave me as a child. I have very fond memories of the larger box just like mine he gave my mother and that my little sister got one just like mine too. There is not a single Valentine's Day that passes that I don't remember that.
I would also like to have some that my husband gave me. Yours are so pretty.
Your post is full of great details of sentiment.
